How to Use Midjourney for Blog Images (Without the Generic Look)

A repeatable prompt structure for featured images that match your brand instead of looking like every other AI illustration on the internet.

Why most AI blog images look the same

Default prompts produce default output. Without style references and a consistent aspect ratio, every image drifts toward the same glossy render.

A prompt structure that works

Subject, then setting, then lighting, then style reference, then aspect ratio. Keep the last two identical across a set and the images start to feel like a series.

Sizing for the web

Generate wide, export at 1200px, compress to WebP. Anything larger is wasted bytes on a blog layout.

Building a reusable set

Save your working prompt as a template and change only the subject line. That is the whole trick to visual consistency.
